This I Believe

(TS) I believe in music. (C) It has the power to change almost anything possible. (C) Music can make somebodies mood better, and even it can even make them forget about everything that is on their mind. (C) There is nothing that is as powerful as music.

(TS) Music is the strongest force on the earth. (SD) No matter how I feel, getting lost in music always makes me feel better. (C) In loud music especially, it is easy to just forget about everything else, and just focus on the song that you're listening to. (C) It is almost impossible to listen to music and to carry a burden (Thesaurus Word) at the same time. (SD) There are so many different forms of music, that you can always find a song that describes what your thinking. (C) Since songs are made by normal people, there is a lot of feeling inside of the lyrics of most music. (C) From hard rock, to reggae, to rap, there is always a song that is close to how you feel at the moment. (SD) Playing music also blows off all of the stress that I am feeling. (C) I eminently feel that playing music is the most powerful way to escape the world. (C) Getting lost in the rhythm of a song is great, but to actually play that grove is even better. (CS) Music is, and will always be the best way to relieve stress, and to just drift away.

(TS) Music is extremely strong. (C) It has the power to relieve stress. (C) Also, many lyrics have a lot of passion in them, which makes music very compatible with how people feel. (C) Lastly, playing music is one more great way to forget about everything, and just get lost inside of the song. (CS) There is nothing that has a power as strong, and as special, as music.

Self Assessment:

I think that this was a good essay. I believe strongly in the topic, and I had a great time writing the essay. I especially like how I throw in some Thesaurus words every once in a while. This really made the sentences pop to me. There is one thing that I think holds the essay back, however. I think that I could have used some better words in places, to make the writing less awkward. This was one of my favorite essays to write.
