Free Verse Poem:
We live in the shadows
Of the people who took the spotlight
That we had shining on us.
What we do no longer has an impact on
How people think about us, and now,
We are nobodies.
At first,
We were those people who had that spotlight on them.
The moment we lost our great light,
We became invisible,
We became forgotten.
